reason 554 i hate self-checkout: if you have lightweight items (ie sewing notions) that dont register on the scale where you bag your items...you have to tell it to skip bagging...after 5 items have skipped bagging, you have to get an override from a clerk

so...if you have oh...25 things of DMC floss thread....it gets a little old...

and after about half are done...she tells you to go to a normal register
