Daily Spending 02.03.12

Not gonna lie, that was some baaaad, unadulterated, materialistic retail therapy.  But, I do have a pretty new guest bath, kitchen, and master bedroom from it. *sheepish grin*

After looking online for close to half an hour, being completely frustrated that the cheapest custom calling cards I could order were $55 for 100 cards, I finally came to the realization that I could design my own! :P

follow up: LJ icons

A while back I posted that I was starting to make LJ icons again. I had entered a contest to create an icon for the movie, "Music & Lyrics". I didn't place, but here are the icons I made:

I am feeling accomplished.
-Jeff helped me get our files off of the old hard-drive, and everything seems to be working quite well.
-Started the process of ripping cds again, and it's going much faster than last time.
-Was inspired by Erwina to start making LJ icons again, and I found a community that holds weekly contests to created movie and tv themed icons. Submitted my first entries this evening! I'll share them after the contest is over.

Off to go finish the last half hour of His Kind of Woman and maybe start On the Waterfront until D gets home from picking up hogs with the "other D".
