Medieval Garden

I am planning a new flower bed in our backyard, and thanks to inspiration from Garden Blueprints, I am making it a Medieval garden. I am planting:

  • Fernleaf Dill
  • Hollyhock Queeny Purple
  • Shasta Daisy Crazy Daisy
  • Basil Lemon Sweet Dani
  • Trumpet Lily White Lancer
  • Veronica "Baby Doll"
  • Poppy Blue Himalayan
  • Sage
  • English Thyme
  • Park's Pink Peony

Just curious why did you choose a medieval garden?

I chose the medieval garden because I liked the colors and variety offered by going with plants (or variations of plants) that were kept in gardens during that time.

It also appealed to the history major in me as well, I suppose.
